Learners can start with a free foundation course, while paid courses are available through a one-time payment rather than a subscription, with flexible 2- and 3-month payment plans.

Meet Your Tutor
Hi everyone! I'm Han - your Korean tutor, a fellow K-culture fan of 20 years, and the creator behind No Translation Needed.
Let me tell you a bit about my relationship and history with K-Culture!
Today, my main job is Professional Korean Tuition, and I'm also a content creator who talks about K-Pop and life in Korea,
but all of my experiences are what led me to make No Translation Needed, because:
I've experienced Korean education from all sides!
I've been the international fan struggling to understand a new language independently,
the university student studying Korean formally in an intense environment,
the foreigner living in Korea and using Korean every day,
and now the teacher helping others learn the beauty of this language!

I made NTN because I wanted to offer fellow K-culture fans a more approachable way to learn Korean - one that connects directly to the things we already love. I wanted NTN to be self-paced, practical and genuinely enjoyable, without feeling as daunting as traditional education.

This is just the beginning!
One thing I've noticed from teaching students who have used language apps before is that many of them know lots of words and set phrases, but still struggle to understand grammar patterns or create their own sentences.
Korean is a language that relies heavily on grammar patterns, sentence structure, and context, so it's easy to reach a point where you recognize words without really understanding how everything fits together.
That's why I decided to launch No Translation Needed with beginner-level content first. My goal is to help you build a strong foundation that makes future Korean feel easier.
NTN is design to grow into a complete learning journey for K-culture fans!
Once those foundations are in place, NTN will continue expanding into higher levels, helping you move towards real conversations, travel, and understanding more of the Korean content you already love.
